So, I went to a friend’s garage sale and as I was purchasing some of her clutter in order to clutter up MY home, she gave me a few things to donate to the local pet shelter. Jingle balls, fish on a string, and a fluffy bed tent. My younger cat, a calico, immediately took to the bed which I’d placed on the floor against the dining room wall. She now plops into it pretty much every time the humans sit down to a meal. She does not want it donated away ANYWHERE. It keeps her calm and out of our food, so I think she’s getting her way. My tabby cat doesn’t challenge her for it; she has her own favorite spots and perches. The jingle balls did get donated.
