Wingfield fan-produced DVDr Updates!!

May 8, 2010 - Queen Of Swords DVD Set details. All of this information is still posted on this page but it has been pushed down pretty far, so I'm adding it again as a new update, just so everyone knows I am still taking orders within North America.

The Queen Of Swords Complete Season on non-regioned DVD is all 22 original episodes plus 5+ minutes of Bonus Material. These region-free discs are produced from syndicated airings of the show during 2004, recorded straight to my PC from my DISH satellite television in NTSC and transcoded for DVD format with interactive menus. The 6 DVDr's play on most stand-alone DVD players and on all computers (with DVD-rom drive). Physical discs are labeled with Sharpie pen and packaged inside Classic Standard style Dual cases with informational inserts.

You can view smaller versions of screen caps of the video at this URL: http://www.rainofhearts.com/qos/qos-dvd.jpg,

Read some customer comments from recipients. People have been sending their thanks and compliments for nearly five years.

Total cost including shipping is $35.00 USD payable by PayPal, personal check, money order, or well-concealed cash. Since 2007, I have limited orders to within North America only, utilizing Priority Mail by USPS. Sorry for the inconvenience, but international shipping is painful and unreliable. Thank you for your consideration.

Email me with your interest in this and any other Peter Wingfield or Tessie Santiago DVDs or videos!! Please include your location (USA, Canada or other).

December 27, 2009 - Don't Forget Tessie! I've been collecting every film project Tessie Santiago (she played the Queen in 'Queen of Swords') has been involved in. Some I have found online, others I have recorded myself from digital satellite television. You can trade for (or pay for materials and postage) these movies and television shows on DVD listed on my Rain Has This sub-page. The Way Back Home, One Hot Summer, One On One, Mind Of Mencia, Break-In, The Cell 2, Kitchen Confidential, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Good Morning Miami, The Way She Moves.

September 2, 2009 - Now Available! Rainofhearts-produced DVDr volumes of Cold Squad Season 2, 12 episodes featuring Peter Wingfield as Inspector Simon Ross. Originally broadcast in Canada from 1998-1999. These 3 region-free discs are produced from USA syndicated airings recorded straight to my PC from my DISH satellite television in 2008 and encoded for DVD format. Physical discs are labeled with Sharpie pen and mailed inside slimline cases printed with simple informative insert art. Introductory pricing, shipped to North American addresses will be $15.00 USD. Email me to order.

June 19, 2009 - Special Opportunity! Looking for more strong women who live by their sword and kick man butt? Try the Young Blades! A 2005 PAXtv adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' classic Three Musketeers, see what happens when a young woman who is wanted for murder disguises herself as a man and joins the king of France's loyal musketeers. Starring Karen Cliche, Tobias Mehler, Zak Santiago, Mark Hildreth, Bruce Boxleitner, Michael Ironside, Robbie Sheehan and Sheena Easton. Rainofhearts introduces her 4 Volume DVDr set of Young Blades.

December 2008 - Project Completed! My DVDr volumes of Strange World and Cold Squad: Deadly Games are finished and ready for trade/sale. See my August and April entries below for more detailed project and source informations. These discs will be $7.00 USD each, including shipping within North America ($14.00 for both shows). Physical discs are labeled with Sharpie pen and mailed inside a slimline case printed with simple informative insert art.

August 2008 - In production now! Authored and region free, DVDr volumes of Peter's three-episode story arc in the 2002 series Strange World and his season 3, two-episode appearance in 1999's Cold Squad. Both shows recorded straight to my PC from my DISH satellite television in 2008 and encoded for DVD format. Pricing and screenshots to come.

April 2008 - Now available! Newly authored and region free, 2 DVDr set of the 1997 UK television series Noah's Ark, starring Peter Wingfield! Produced in practically the same way as my QoS set, NA picture quality turned out slightly lower as I worked with a VHS original copy, but as DVDs, the quality will now never degrade further. Most stand-alone dvd players will play these discs just as if they were pressed for retail. They feature interactive color menus and 3 episodes per disc. Packaged in Classic Standard style Dual case with informational insert. Introductory domestic pricing of $12.00 USD, payable by PayPal, personal check, money order, well-concealed cash. Please take a look at these screenshots and email me for more information.

April 2008 - Just Added! Customer comments from recipients of my unofficial Queen of Swords DVDr fan set. People have been sending their thanks and compliments for over three full years and it's about time I share. If you'd like to be added to my list (or removed!), contact me. Thank you. No, really, THANK YOU EVERYONE!

January 2008 - Please Please Please take notice. I really need to know more info from you guys when you request details on acquiring your fan-produced DVDr sets. I ask for your physical location. Your country. Your state. That's as specific as I ask off the start. I've received so many requests without this information and I tend to not respond to those shortshortshort emails; i.e. I don't take your request seriously. I think you're fishing me out to see what I'll say. Well, I will send you useful information ONCE YOU SEND ME USEFUL INFORMATION. WHERE WOULD I BE SHIPPING TO? If you think I may have misplaced your email, please email me again with your interest and your location. Thank you very much.

August 2007 - Here are a few screenshots from the DVDs and the case insert "art": Volume One screencaps | Volumes Three-Four art.

May 2007 - I'm now trying to limit orders to North America only (continuing to utilize Priority Mail by USPS). Sorry for the inconvenience, but international shipping is painful and unreliable. Thank you for your consideration.

October 2006 - discs still available with slight changes in packaging and a corresponding price reduction. Due to technological devolutions and my lack of time or energy, the "full color," "fancy" artwork is being abandoned. The DVDr's themselves are the same, fully authored, chaptered episodes with audio-tracked menus.

The Queen Of Swords Complete Season on non-regioned DVD! All 22 original episodes plus 5+ minutes of Bonus Material converted from digital television to NTSC mpeg-1. 6 DVDr's playable on all computers (with DVD-rom drive where applicable) and many stand-alone dvd players (Please check out this page to determine if your player rocks)!

DVD's packaged in Classic Standard style Dual cases with informational inserts. $35.00 in the continental U.S. Offer remains standing as long as there is interest or until Official DVDs are released in the United States.

$35.00 payable by PayPal, personal check, money order, well-concealed cash.

"...the Queen of Swords finds an unlikely comrade in Robert Helm (played by Peter Wingfield), an English Doctor who trades his musket for a scalpel, vowing to save lives, not take them. He has little patience for Tessa, believing her to be a spoiled member of the nobility, and less for the Queen of Swords, despising the blades with which she deals justice, yet Helm keeps finding himself strangely attracted to the beautiful avenger in black."
