The Wingfield Curse
Just for the record, Rain Pierson does not buy into the so-called "curse".
But, the Wingfield "Curse" refers to: Peter is the death of any television series.
Several series' he has joined the cast of or guest-starred in have very quickly been cancelled.
Who's to say Peter is or is not the cause?
Cold Feet (filmed 2 episodes, 1 aired)
Outer Limits (filmed 1 episode as a guest star and it is now announced this will be OL final season!)
Highlander (now I KNOW Peter was on this show for 3 seasons, but it wasn't til his picture joined the opening credits that HL only filmed half a season and went off the air.)
The Sentinel (filmed 1 episode as a guest star and the series ended only 7 episodes into the next season)
Some people have speculated that X-files is saved by its move to LA to film as opposed to staying in British Columbia where eventually Peter would guest star and ruin that series next. That's simply not nice.
